Stomach Meridian
Order:
Taiji: Yang
Element: Earth
Emotion: Care
Sensory organ: lips
Tissue: Connective tissue
Links: Second toe
Function: digestion
The gastric meridian influences the interaction between digestive organs, stomach, duodenum and pancreas. According to Eastern medicine, the gastric meridian is also responsible for the female reproductive organs, menstrual cycle and ovarian function.
Music: The music corresponds to the energy of the stomach meridian and makes it easier to work with these meridians. The energy flows unhindered - blockages are released.
Jitsu/surplus: An excess of energy is manifested in a kind of restlessness. You can't stop thinking. In our latitudes this would be called Workoholic: You work too much, you eat too much, you are eaten fast and besides. The body is neglected, pressure in the stomach and heartburn occur at the same time. The skin appears irritated and dry, the nose red and inflamed. A tendency to anaemia is increasing and the muscles of the shoulders, back and chest are aching.
Kyo/deficiency: A lack of energy is manifested in thoughtless eating, which creates a feeling of fullness and stomach pressure. This can lead to chronic inflammation of the mucous membranes. The shoulders and muscles ache and in women the ovarian function is weakened.
The "togetherness" of the 12 meridians and their functions:

- Renal and bladder meridian = purification and hormone system
- Pericard and San Jiao = circulation and protection
- Liver and galley meridian = food and energy intake
Yin & Yang:
- Yin meridians run from the toes to the trunk and from the trunk to the fingers.
- Yang meridians run from the fingers to the face and from the face to the toes
General: Meridians (Traditional Chinese Medicine) are channels in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) where the life energy (Qi) flows. Each meridian is assigned to an organ or organ system. Acupuncture points are located on the meridians. Various meridian therapies are designed to help patients stay or become healthy. According to the TCM, health is associated with a free and sufficient flow of Qi in the meridians. If, for example, too little Qi flows, harmful Qi could enter the canal and damage the associated organ. (quoted from Wikipedia)
